                                                         Chairman's Report

Brentwood Regional Competition - Jan 2014

Congratulation to all in rotations who took part in a very successful day at the January regional competition.

Paul Verdicchio, our Head Coach had this to say.

"We have only been back 2 weeks after the Christmas break so this competition was quite tough for the gymnasts to get ready for. Saying that, half of those who entered either won a trophy or graded to the next level so we were all delighted with their efforts. This is a very strong start to the season and everyone is fired up and eager to attend the remaining competitions. Special thanks to all who attended today especially the officials Thomas Verdicchio, Emma Armatige and Liz Morris and coaches Laura Riformato and Sonia Verdicchio."

Some of the teams results are below.

Katie Chandler took Gold in girls u15 F. Scoring enough to take her to grade E.

Charlotte Pearce also gaining Gold in girls u13 H

Oliver Pearce won Silver in u11 boys H.

Katie Marson won Bronze in u15 girls E.

Hannah Morris narrowly missing the podium also graded to F in girls u15 G.

Also jumping and attaining very respectable scores were Carys Verdicchio, Chloe Noades, Madison Riformato, Sarah Allen-Farrelly, Ben Saich and Hollie Cooper-Leach.

Rotations first regional grade competition. - 2010

On the 6th June we entered our first regional grading competition at Ipswich.

Rhianne Chamberlain and Thomas Verdicchio entered at Grade G in their first away comp and both done extremely well. Rhianne was up against 36 other competitors and came a very respectible 16th! scoring an overall total of 43.40

Thomas pulled out all the stops on the day and came shy of first place by only 0.40 scoring a total of 46.10 This score enabled Thomas to now enter the next grade up(F).
